Shutdown in Pulwama on slain militant’s 2nd Death anniversary | KNO

A complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama district of south Kashmir on the 2nd death anniversary of a local militant who was killed on this day in Ajas area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district. Omais Ahmad Shiekh alias Abu Hamza son of Farooq Ahmad of Chatapora village was killed in an encounter with the government forces in Ajas Bandipora in 2015. Sources said that all the shops and business establishments are closed today while as transport is off the roads. They added that additional forces have been deployed in the town to maintain law and order
